What vid camera is best for theaters and live music. I want to have the option of plugging into a sound board?

The music is loud and the lighting changes. The theaters are all sizes. These are rock concerts.

You want a camera with XLR inputs that can be swiched between mic level and line level (line level for the sound-desk)

Any of Sonys pro cameras from the A1 to the Z series up.
Canon do the XHA1 too.

You can get a less expensive camera with a mic input and manual level adjust, such as the canon HV40 you would need to use this with a beachteck DXA-2 adaptor, again switched to line level, to get the audio from a soundboard.

The second camera is one I have seen local television remote crews using as well.
