Loews Theatres Policy Trailer (mid-1980s?)

Posted on March 10th, 2010 by admin

This is a policy trailer for Loews Theatres from assumedly the mid-1980s. This policy trailer has always been one of my favorites for two reasons:

1. It is very utilitarian. In the span of 47 seconds, it thoroughly outlines every theatre policy both visually and verbally.

2. It has a funkily-awesome theme.

As I said twice before, I assume that this video is from the mid-1980s, but I would like to know what year it is from specifically. If anybody knows the specific year, please post a text comment on this video or send me a private message.

All credit goes to www.film-tech.com for having this video.

Last night in Jersey City, NJ, the Loews Landmark Theater showed the classic silent film SAFETY LAST (starring Harold Lloyd) with live music by organist Ralph Ringstad Jr. playing the Wonder Morton.
Ralph’s playing really made us all feel like we went back in time to the 1920s when this film originally came out.
