I am 17 and my firend is 16. The nearest movie theater for me is AMC Theaters. We both want to see "The Hangover Part 2". Would I be able to buy my 16 year old friend a ticket for the movie or would one of my parents have to buy the tickets for us?

Yes. Done it

Who plays Atticus Finch in To kill a Mockingbird? I have do do a project in theater arts about this movie?

Posted on May 15th, 2011 by admin

I have to do a project in theater arts about the movie To kill a Mockingbird and i just want to know the name of the cast from the movie. I already know that Mary Bedham plays scout but i need a character list so i can know who plays who.

Gregory Peck
The story is told through the eyes of six-year-old Scout (Mary Badham), a feisty young girl who lives in a small Alabama town with her older brother, Jem (Philip Alford) and their widower father, Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck).
At the end, Scout says to Atticus that by punishing Boo for defending Jem they would be "Shooting a mockingbird" Because Boo does no one no harm and only does good (Sings). As Atticus explained early in the film, mocking birds do no harm to anyone, simply singing all day; the film’s title refers to the unnecessary harming of innocent creatures.

AMC Loews Movie Theater How Much Does a Movie Cost If It is in 3D?

Posted on May 9th, 2011 by admin

I know it costs extra but I’m not sure how much i’m going to see avatar in 3D
I live in NYC (New York City)
I live in NYC (New York City)
it was $3 for me
it was $13.50 for me

Depends on where you live. Movie prices vary in different states (don’t they?). For me, I thnik it’s like, $2 extra so instead of being $13 for a movie, it’s $15, but you should check online. It’s probably not that much, probably just $2 more.

Can you connect home theater system to your TV and watch normal TV programs (free) with Home theater effect?

Posted on May 7th, 2011 by admin

Basically I am planning to buy a home theater system with a DVD player but want to know if i can use that even without the DVD player. If i am just watching TV, is my home theater system is used or sitting idle?

Depends on your home theater systems and if it allows additional hook -ups to it. If it does then there should be no problem hooking up your TV for surround sound.
But remember it will not sound as good as your DVDs because DVDs are digital or 5.1, normal TV signals are analog or 2.0 .
If your home theater had Dolby Pro Logic ll, it will convert the 2.0 signal to 5.1.

What are the funniest old-time theater plays?

Posted on May 4th, 2011 by admin

I’m trying to make a list of comedy plays that are out of copyright that might be good to perform. I’m looking for plays that are FUNNY!

Stuff I’m looking for would be things like Much Ado About Nothing, The Importance of Being Earnest, David Garrick, The Admirable Crichton, etc.

The plays MUST be out of copyright, so that no one has to pay royalties (So things like Spamalot or The Odd Couple are no good.)

Dont know about the copyright or if this would be good for what your looking for but when I was a kid I was in a play called " No No Nanette". Everyone seemed to get a kick out of it.

what does it mean to have a dream about a theater where they show plays?

Posted on April 29th, 2011 by admin

Ive had this dream many times through out my life, i am always late to a play or performance so am always stuck in the back of the theater. and every time i enter the theater its a glowing gold glow but am always late and have to sit in the back but what is most important is its always am always going to the theater, what does this mean?

Life is like a play and we are all actors. You get there late, but you still get there. Gold is a symbol of riches and blessings. Perhaps you are a procrastinator, but you still get things done.

What suspenseful / scary movies are worth seeing in theaters?

Posted on April 26th, 2011 by admin

I’ve seen scream 4 already, what are some other good ones? That are worth paying a fortune to go to the theater? I don’t want to see a movie if its people think it wasn’t worth seeing in theaters.

Insidious
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1591095/

As long as you go when there are not a bunch of teenagers in the theater.

It’s an awesome, creepy movie. I highly recommend it.
