Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures’/Sony Pictures Animation’s hybrid live-action and animated family comedy, The Smurfs.
When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

They’ve been doing a TERRIBLE job with remakes. Peyo would NOT approve of this. No, I’ve not seen the movie but, if its anything like these other horrific remakes……its a flop already.

@AmericanNohbuddy no they havent run out of ideas yet! this is a first live action smurfs movie which is going to be in 3D!i think what hollywood is doing is that there bringing back old stuff from back in the days to make them in our todays movies which technology is great now so i guess they want to see how it like!now if they remade these movies again in the future then hollywood had ran out of ideas!plus they have other movies that r new ideas so were good

@ps3freak44 hey u have to admit they never actually made a live action smurfs it would be good for a smurfs so they hollywood is not bad unless they remade the smurfs movie years to come then they have ran out of ideas!plus this isnt the only movie that is coming out of the 80’s!more movies r coming like ghostbusters 3 (2012),jonny quest (2012),the jetsons (2012),thundercats (2012),well most movies of 80’s stuff is coming in 2012 it looks like it lol but yeah hollywood is still good to me!

thanks for all the reply’s. George Lopez probably needed more money for crack burritos. Neel Patrick Harris was just bored and i guess whoever green-lit this movie was on something. i fell bad for any parent who is dragged to go see this by their kids. at least we still have the expendables to look forward to. peace out. p.s Hollywood can go kiss my hairy ass
