What is your problem? I cannot believe this question! So what if they see the movie. Is this your movie theater? If it were I could see you charging them you cheapo! They don’t get paid much and they do work hard. They have to stay in there that is why they are STANDING there for 2 stinking hours. Thanks for proving to me what crumby people are in the world. How would you like it if someone is watching everything you do at your job and questioning everything you get by with and pinch every penny from you. What a lousy person. You better go take a walk in their shoes and live in it for awhile. You know you do have the option of working in a movie theater and seeing movies for free also. Why do you begrudge people the little happiness / comfort they may get? Can’t stand people like you with your noses in everydody’s business. Maybe you should orchestrate YOUR life the way you want to orchestrate others! I know you will continue to think you are right….just like there are so many like you that think like this…..

Why shouldn’t they be? Movie theater employees are sort of integral to the movie going experience. If they have nothing else they need to be doing I can’t see any reason that they can’t hang out and catch a flick.

Also, the fact that they choose to stand rather than sit tells most of the story. Seems to me like they’re ready to get back to work at a moments notice.

For example, as a Starbucks employee, I’m welcome to free beverages throughout my shift, and even just before and after. The logic behind my free drinks is two fold.

1- How can i talk about it if Ive never experienced it? How can I answer questions about something Ive never tasted (or seen, in this case)?

2- If it wasn’t for me and my co-workers, none of this would be possible. It’s a basic gesture of kindness that rewards dedication.

No, really, think of it this way, they probably don’t get paid shit for being there anyway unless of course they are unionized, in which case I entirely agree with you.

On the other hand considering some movies out there, THEY should pay ME to watch them.
