Would 3 minutes be …
Would 3 minutes be enough to really be able to serve everyone? Or maybe, when the show started again, it would be previews and the cartoon and that stuff. You still had time to stand in line for popcorn and other treats before that start of “Our Feature Presentation”.

Dunes, they don’t …
Dunes, they don’t do intermissions anymore because there’s no such thing as a double feature anymore. Or cartoons and newsreels. Move ‘em in and out as fast as you can. That’s the movie system today.

It would be neat if every town could have one theater that’s old fashioned and did things like that with intermission and all. And drive-in’s too. I think there’s one around where I live. My father mentioned it once.

Intermission …
Intermission cartoon clips like this added to the experience, although I do remember on occassion they wouldn’t be as fully stocked as the ads promised. My closest drive in growing up was the LANSING, and, I can remember once seeing a gigantic ice cream bar up on the screen. You guessed it, they didn’t sell ice cream at the snack bar. Another drive in that I worked at it’s last nine seasons, occassionally ran a reel featuring cigarettes we no longer sold. Finally we sliced it out.

My grandmother’s …
My grandmother’s town their “downtown” is still the same as the 50’s and 60’s so it’s like you’re going back in time but everyone is driving current cars and wearing current fashion haha. Some of the house’s are the same and churches and stuff. It’s so weird. They even have their old theater still the same as back then lol. I doubt they have the same experience though but they’ll have on the sign like two movies that they’re playing haha. It’s really cute.
