The Loews Jersey Movie Palace

Posted on May 3rd, 2010 by admin

A short video I made to showing the Jersey City, NJ
LOEWS JERSEY movie palace. Ralph Ringstad plays the Wonder Morton pipe organ (one of only 5 that exist!) before each show!!
The theater, built in 1929, it’s one of the last standing buildings of it’s kind.

Thanks so much for posting this. You really bring the entire scene to life, very accurately.

Did I mention that this is the 10th largest working theatre in the United States?

    Easily the finest …
Easily the finest theatre in which to see classic movies on a regular basis in the NYC area, and the organ is among the nation’s best. $6 to $7 usually. Plenty of parking. Easy subway access from Manhattan. Come one, come all–and see a movie the way they were meant to be seen.
