As a life-long New Englander, I’d have to say that, in their day, the WCVB news team (with Chet Curtis and Natalie Jacobson) was comparable. However, nowadays, I’d have to agree with you. WCVB is probably the closest thing to a “family” news team, WHDH is the worst. Look at the clip “WHDH Meltdown”, in which the 11:00 anchors have to deal with NO PLAYBACK whatsoever. Randy Price handles it like the seasoned pro he is, Christa Del Camp, on the other hand – deer in headlights.
