and do you get a "Token" in exchange before entering?

what happens if you lose the "Token"?? how do you get your coat back?..lol

please xplain why this is and what you think of this?

   I think, way back in the 1950s, theatre goers handed their coats into the cloakroom and got a ticket.

   Nowadays, I think some theatres still have this facility, but the majority of people just fold their coat on their lap, unless it is some really posh affair.

   There might be a cloak room, but I’ve never used one. It’s not compulsory, everyone just takes their coat in with them.
