A movie theater “policy trailer” for Marcus Theatres. I don’t know much about this one except that I acquired it sometime in the late 90s, so I’ll leave it up to the Comments.

   I remember going to …
   I remember going to a movie at a Marcus back in the mid-late 90s, and they used curtains to signify an opening. I still go to that theater, but they do not do the curtains anymore. (I believe they had like radio-like ads through the speakers back then) but yeah they do play the “pre-show” crap now (I would agree with you.)

    i work at a marcus now too! we used to have only CEC theatres in my area, so marcus is pretty new to me. but let me tell you, whenever i go to the movies now i hum obnoxiously to the current policy trailer:) haha

    Oh man that made me happy……. as cool as the current trailer is with King Kong and Spiderman and such, this is the one that I saw HUNDREDS of times while I worked for Marcus Theatres!

    Yes, some screens do, (the smaller ones), used only to adjust the width of the screen

    Do Marcus theaters actually have curtains? That would also make them free of the pre-show ad crap that plagues most theaters these days.
