Who plays Atticus Finch in To kill a Mockingbird? I have do do a project in theater arts about this movie?

I have to do a project in theater arts about the movie To kill a Mockingbird and i just want to know the name of the cast from the movie. I already know that Mary Bedham plays scout but i need a character list so i can know who plays who.

The story is told through the eyes of six-year-old Scout (Mary Badham), a feisty young girl who lives in a small Alabama town with her older brother, Jem (Philip Alford) and their widower father, Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck).
At the end, Scout says to Atticus that by punishing Boo for defending Jem they would be "Shooting a mockingbird" Because Boo does no one no harm and only does good (Sings). As Atticus explained early in the film, mocking birds do no harm to anyone, simply singing all day; the film’s title refers to the unnecessary harming of innocent creatures.

I’m trying to make a list of comedy plays that are out of copyright that might be good to perform. I’m looking for plays that are FUNNY!

Stuff I’m looking for would be things like Much Ado About Nothing, The Importance of Being Earnest, David Garrick, The Admirable Crichton, etc.

The plays MUST be out of copyright, so that no one has to pay royalties (So things like Spamalot or The Odd Couple are no good.)

Dont know about the copyright or if this would be good for what your looking for but when I was a kid I was in a play called " No No Nanette". Everyone seemed to get a kick out of it.

Ive had this dream many times through out my life, i am always late to a play or performance so am always stuck in the back of the theater. and every time i enter the theater its a glowing gold glow but am always late and have to sit in the back but what is most important is its always am always going to the theater, what does this mean?

Life is like a play and we are all actors. You get there late, but you still get there. Gold is a symbol of riches and blessings. Perhaps you are a procrastinator, but you still get things done.

To Kill a Mockingbird will be playing in Modesto in May. I’ve never been to that theater, but it’s a great show and I suspect they’ll put on a good production.

I have a question about Theater plays done on stage?

I recently saw a play, "Churchill in shorts" it’s a collection of plays and it consists of three one acts. what was interesting was that after each act, the actors rearranged the stage themselves for the next act. Isn’t that something the stage workers should do? i was wondering if anyone knew why the actors would arrange the stage themselves, the play is supposed to be short though but even though, why would the actors do that.

Various reasons: there may be no stage crew – financially it may not be feasible to hire people to move scenery around. It could be an artistic choice – sometimes directors have actors change the set "in character" to connect scenes or short pieces into a complete piece.

Nine times out of ten it’s the lack of stage crew. When you’re doing a show for very little money, you sometimes have to ask stage crew to work for free and very few people will do that, so you’re left with just the actors to pitch in. This was partially the case with my show when it went up in January. Additionally, using my five actors meant the scene changes could happen in thirty to forty-five seconds instead of the two minutes that it would have taken for only two stage hands to change over.

This all changes when you’re dealing with Equity (Union) theatre where actors are not ALLOWED to change scenery nor in many cases carry props off stage unless its written in the script/direction.

How do i get into plays at my local theater?

I have wanted to get into some of the plays in my cities local theater, but how? Do i just go in there and say "Hey! Can i audition!"??? Or is there a certain place i have to go, or a certain person i have to meet? Please let me know! Thanks!

If it’s a community theater, just check their website and they should have audition information.

I just downloaded a Full HD 1080p and put it into a USB drive in order to plug it in to my Home theater’s DVD player but when I did it wasn’t playing.. there is a tag on my DVD that says it can play DivX videos.. What is a DivX video and how can I make nm movie into one f those things so that my DVD would play! :p

I need to find out what plays around currently playing and most importantly, scheduled to open around the country. I also need to know where they’re playing and would like an overall list of the most well-known and best-known independent theater houses around the country in major cities.

I’m basically interested in cities like Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, New York and other major cities, and what their most well-known theater houses are, as well as a list of what plays are currently playing and scheduled to open in the future.

there isn’t such a list. you will have to look up each city to find whats there.
