AMC Loews Movie Theater How Much Does a Movie Cost If It is in 3D?

Posted on May 9th, 2011 by admin

I know it costs extra but I’m not sure how much i’m going to see avatar in 3D
I live in NYC (New York City)
I live in NYC (New York City)
it was $3 for me
it was $13.50 for me

Depends on where you live. Movie prices vary in different states (don’t they?). For me, I thnik it’s like, $2 extra so instead of being $13 for a movie, it’s $15, but you should check online. It’s probably not that much, probably just $2 more.

Does this coupon work for Regal or AMC movie theatres?

Posted on April 20th, 2011 by admin

I recently received yellow piece of paper for a discount of $8 from someone who goes to NYC Tech, and I was wondering whether these coupons actually work. Basically, it’s on a yellow printing paper that says it’s good for one admission, a maximum of four tickets, and works in AMC and Regal theatres, as well as the Loews, United Artist, and Magic Johnson theatre.

This sounds like a promotional ticket. General these can be a little tricky at times because they can be created fraudulently. The theaters in your area are aware of the promotions going on and should be able to help over the phone if you just read them the fine print. On rare occasions the coupon would need to be seen in person to ensure you will be able to see your movie!

Why are AMC, Loews, and other large name movie theaters criminally expensive and overpriced?

Posted on April 13th, 2011 by admin

Are these businesses hurting financially in any way? I don’t think so. So why must I pay anywhere from 9 to 13 dollars to see a movie? And anywhere from 14 to 30 dollars for snacks? Give me a logical or strong answer please.

There are a couple of answers. Regarding tickets prices, those are generally decided by the film studios. If a movie theatre or a theatre chain prices their tickets too low then the studios may decide to give that theatre less prints of a big film, or even hold off on giving them a movie at all.

Movie theatres also generally don’t see a lot of profit from ticket sales in the first couple of weeks, when movies are generally their most popular. Most of that income goes straight to the studios. Theatres really only make their money through the concession stand. Theatres are also generally very expensive to maintain. Utility bills are outrageous, repairs need to be done pretty frequently, and payroll costs more than you might think. All of these things combined contribute to the higher prices at the concession stand.

Hotel near Cherry Hill Mall, NJ?

Posted on December 2nd, 2010 by admin

Hi, I’m looking for a hotel as close to the Cherry Hill Mall/Loews Movie theatre. Most hotels I find seem to be quite a distance away from the mall, and we’ll need to get there on foot (will be leaving too late to catch a train back to Philadelphia). I was wondering what the closest hotel to the mall is?! Am I missing something? It seems that the closest one is a Days Inn about 2-3 miles down Rt. 38, but something closer would be a lot better. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PATCO trains run all night. It’s about 4 miles to the Cherry Hill PATCO station which would be about a $15 cab ride.

There really aren’t any hotels right near the mall. Closest would be on Marlton Pike. I know there’s a Holiday Inn in that area.

Movie theaters are only as good as the movies showing in them.
Unless you are specifically looking for places to snog.
